Markus Lupfer exhibition

Fashion Week can be either inspiring fun or stiff obligation. In Berlin it's mostly the latter these days - reprimanded by security (don't stand here, step back, stand in line, wait outside), bored by too many bland celebrities flooding the shows and too many strawberry-pepper flavoured water promoting girls in humiliating ballet dresses.
What a nice break in that mess it was to visit the Markus Lupfer exhibition. Not entirely because of the presented fashion, but because of the relaxed atmosphere in the old palais with some champagne, friends, piano music and spring rolls.

ach die sachen von markus sind so toll. und er ist wirklich unfassbar nett. ich war da. habe ihn gesprochen. und auch die wunderbare tasche gesehen, die er für den merian navigator designt hat.
What the "bleep" is this fascination with z-rate celebreties in Berlin, and they are absolute nobodies plus they can not even dress themselves ( or have a good stylist to dress them ) Get rid of that whole concept I say, it destroys fashion
sonny, I agree with you. fashionweek in berlin means: if you can't block a street it's not considered an event. it's all about the sponsors presence in the yellow press. it's awfull and it got a lot worse this season
