Adidas launches its Urban Art Guide, an online and mobile guide to streetart, today at 6pm and invited the press to a tour through Mitte this afternoon. We all know, that Berlin is brimming with streetart, but who knows how to find the best works. And though I knew most of the spots, since this is my neighborhood, this streetart covered entrance on Alte Schönhauser Strasse was new to me. Like one of those hidden but breathtaking completely painted Italian chapels, this entrance shows dozens of works by famous streetart artists.
We were equiped with brand new sneakers - to me, being an Adidas girl, that was godsend since my last pair of sneakers just went down demolition road...

during the tour I was totally frustrated to find out that my favorite street art piece was destroyed. the "urban indianer" by chin chin at Mulackstr. corner of Alte Schönhauser at the Platoon container. I just loved the giraffe shirt. what a shame it's gone now :-(
true that, and they didn't just cross it, or removed it completely but tore it apart
